Siskiwit in Charleston 2012

Siskiwit in Charleston

Built by Cheoy Lee, 1969.

Whether under full sail or power, Lake Superior or the Atlantic, she moves through the water with power and grace and, in any harbor, is under constant observation and comment. The thought Phil Rhodes put into his design is demonstrated by Siskiwit having only 4 owners in since the issuance of her Builder's Certificate in 1969.

About the Captain:

Henry A Young enjoyed ownership of Siskiwit from 8/ 1989 - 10/2016. Together they sailed all of the Great Lakes, Hudson River, and from Castine, Maine, to Ft. Lauderdale and, once in the Bahamas, he followed the log of Christopher Columbus 500 years later. His Eastern seaboard cruising included a Southbound and Northbound single hand via the ICW from Norfolk, VA to Loggerhead Marina, Palm Beach Gardens, FL

Siskiwit's new owner is Captain Donovan P Brennan of Mobile Bay, AL.
